About

‘A must visit location when on a Northern Ireland Coffee Tour’

Middletown is more than quality food and service – it's a place for people to meet up, relax and be at home.

It’s a destination venue offering speciality coffee - speciality coffee is not new – only in Northern Ireland. No instant coffee here! Lunchtime meals, tray bakes and delicious new recipes and tasty specials also on offer.

They bake all their own sweet bakes on site using the best ingredients that they can source. They also have a “Sweet Bake of the Week” running Thursday to Thursday. This could really consist of anything under the sun but it’s always a bit special. They only work with suppliers that understand their requirements with quality and consistency being their main driver.

They have a Wednesday special – which is a really interesting dish, and a bit ‘different’ – it can include ingredients that some people have never tried before. This is a trust issue – even if the customers don’t know what it is or never have tried it, they might love it. Then, they can take that experience out and about too.

They have a ‘cupping’ event every Friday at 12:15. This is where you can taste 6-12 coffees, right beside each other from different countries. People often walk in off the street, and it’s free. This weekly event brings strangers together, by starting with a conversation about coffee. The result is that if they try a fruity coffee there that they like, they now know their type of coffee to order off menu. And it is really good fun! Great relaxed décor with lots of plants around.
