Terms & Conditions

By entering competitions run by, or in conjunction with Tourism Northern Ireland, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
    
2. Employees of Tourism Northern Ireland (Tourism NI) and their immediate families, their agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
    
3. Closing date for receipt of all entries is [CLOSING DATE]. Bulk entries, incomplete or illegible entries, or entries submitted by third parties will not be accepted.
    
4. One entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will not be considered.
    
5. Entries must be submitted via the official competition entry form and must not exceed 500 characters in length.
    
6. Following the closing date, all eligible entries will be reviewed by an internal judging panel appointed by Tourism Northern Ireland.
    
7. Entries will be judged on:
   • Creativity
   • Originality
   • Use of the autumn theme
   • Overall representation of an ideal Northern Ireland autumn break
      
8. One winner will be selected based on the judging criteria outlined above and contacted by email within 7 days of the judging date.
    
9. The winner will receive a bespoke Northern Ireland autumn break package inspired by their competition entry, with a maximum total prize value of £500.
    
10. The final composition of the prize, including accommodation, attractions, experiences and other inclusions, will be determined by Tourism Northern Ireland and is subject to availability.
     
11. While Tourism Northern Ireland will endeavour to create a prize package that reflects the winning entry, the final prize itinerary may differ from the exact details outlined in the submission.
     
12. Prize availability is subject to the operating dates, booking conditions and availability of participating accommodation providers, attractions and experience operators.
     
13. Transport to and from locations included within the prize is the responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated.
     
14. The prize must be redeemed within the timeframe specified by Tourism Northern Ireland. Any unused element of the prize will be forfeited.
     
15. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, refunded or redeemed for cash, in whole or in part.
     
16. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion.
     
17. Tourism NI and its agents accept no responsibility for any technical difficulties experienced in participating in this competition.
     
18. The Promoter reserves the right to vary, alter or terminate this promotion due to any unforeseen circumstances. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any third parties involved in this promotion, although every effort will be made to minimise any impact on participants.
     
19. Competitions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter cannot accept responsibility for any claims arising from winners taking a prize or attending a venue, however they may arise.
     
20. Insofar as is permitted by law, Tourism NI will not in any circumstances be responsible for, or liable to, the winner or accept any liability (of whatever nature and howsoever arising) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring directly, indirectly, or in connection with taking up the prize provided by any third-party supplier, or as a result of a supplier not delivering the prize offered, except where caused by the negligence of Tourism NI or its employees.
     
21. The decision of the judging panel is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of the competition.
     
22. By entering the competition, participants grant Tourism Northern Ireland a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish and use their submitted entry, in whole or in part, for marketing, promotional and publicity purposes related to the competition and future promotional activity.
     
23. The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including the publication of their first name, county of residence and winning entry.
