The Merchant Hotel

About

The five Red Star Merchant Hotel is a harmonious blend of Victorian grandeur and Art Deco inspired sleek modernity.

Situated in the heart of Belfast city centre's historic Cathedral Quarter, the grandeur of the original Grade A listed building is complemented by an elegant Art Deco inspired wing with a multitude of exciting amenities. These include a stunning luxury spa, a rooftop gymnasium with panoramic city views and a dedicated meeting and events suite.

*** PLEASE NOTE*** The Merchant Hotel is undergoing renovation works from March 1st until the first week of April 2020. As a result, The Great Room Restaurant and The Cocktail Bar will be inaccessible during these dates. For more information visit .https://www.themerchanthotel.com/information/the-merchant-hotel-renovations

A wide selection of restaurants and bars awaits guests. The Great Room Restaurant offers award winning fine dining at its very best, with a menu that showcases the best local produce available. The Merchant Hotel is justifiably proud of reintroducing traditional afternoon teas in all their glory to the city of Belfast, and Afternoon Tea is available daily (booking advised). Bert's Jazz Bar is Belfast's only live jazz venue, featuring the very best local Jazz musicians playing seven nights a week. The Merchant is also home to the multi award winning Cocktail Bar, public bar the Cloth Ear and their premium nightclub venue, Ollie's.

The Merchant Hotel also features an exclusive fashion boutique, Harper. As Northern Ireland's only stockist of Valentino, Celine and Christian Louboutin of Paris, Harper at The Merchant Hotel is a must visit for every fashionista.

Due to its prime location, the Merchant Hotel is a short distance from a host of visitor attractions including Victoria Square Shopping Centre, the Ulster Museum, City Hall, the Titanic Quarter, the Waterfront Hall and the SSE Arena.
