Studio apartment set in the country a short drive (0.6 miles) from the historic and beautiful seaside town of Donaghadee, voted the best place to live in NI (2023). Located on the first floor overlooking fields and the Irish Sea towards the Mull of Galloway. 

Facilities include double bed, sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen (electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle), en-suite shower room, TV, wi-fi, hair dryer. Towels and linen provided. Child travelling cot and high chair available on request. Well behaved pets welcome.

Local point of interest include: Donaghadee Beach and Harboour (1 mile), The Donaghadee Motte (Moat) and camera obscura (1 mile), Copelands Distillery (1 mile), Ballycopeland Windmill (2.3 miles), Mount Stewart House and Gardens (National Trust 9 miles), Strangford Lough (area of special scientific interest).

Road Directions

From Newtownards: Follow Movilla Road (signposted Carrowdore), after Ballvester village, top of the hill, entrance to new house on the right.

From Donaghadee: exit Donaghadee on the Millisle Road, take first right (opposite Baptist Church) onto Killaughey Road, past cricket pitch, over bridge top of the hill, past vending machine, next entrance on the left.

Parking: follow drive to new white house, park in front of the garage (The Boathouse)
