Seemingly plucked straight from a fairytale, this idyllic Irish thatched cottage will be found down a short private country lane, free from the hustle a bustle of modern life, offering unrivalled luxury, peace and tranquility - the perfect secret escape to relax, unwind and recharge.

Bringing together history, comfort and style, this extra special self-catering accommodation is the island of Ireland's only 5 Star awarded authentic thatched cottage accommodation and proudly sits amongst the Irish Independent's 'Fab 50 Places to Stay' on the Island of Ireland:).

Keenaghan Cottage is a two bedroom (both with Supreme King beds / cottage sleeps 4 people), two restroom property, with it's own secure, private grounds and parking. The beautiful outdoor areas include various seated areas to enjoy your cup of tea (or glass of wine!) Keenaghan Cottage is a unique place, and it’s all yours.  A haven for wildlife, flora and fauna, you really will feel like you have stepped back in time to a quieter, more peaceful way of life, allowing you to relax, re-connect with nature... and yourself!.

The homely living room will welcome you through the traditional 'half door', with slate flooring and a wood burning stove under an ingle-nook fireplace. This open-plan lounge area includes a smart TV, (with NETFLIX) free Wi-fi, characterful comfy seating, a dining table and chairs, also included are some board games, playing cards and some great reads on the bookshelf. 
With two generous size bedrooms, one en-suite, both overlooking Keenaghan Lough and each enjoying the comfort of a supreme king size bed. The master suite with adjoining en-suite also has a beautiful dressing room with a table and excellent lighting for getting ready for a night out, a hairdryer is also provided in each room. 
The main bathroom has an enclosed ‘wash-room’ with laundry facilities, (inc. washing machine, tumble dryer) and an iron and ironing board. All linen and towels are provided, along with extra toiletries. Our laundering is also professionally carried out for extra hygiene.
The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes, generous work surfaces, complete with a Range Master electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with icebox, Coffe machine, Toaster, including a Sandwich Toaster!. We also promote sustainable travel, so you can be confident in knowing you are helping support the local environment as well as the local community! 

Keenaghan Cottage is a highly private property with outside security cameras and coded electric security gates. We also offer Complimentary Bicycles, BBQ, Fire-Pit and even Wellies for getting out there and exploring this stunning part of County Fermanagh and nearby County Donegal!

We are also a Pet friendly accommodation (so you can bring your best friend too!)
