Hallmount Cottage

About

Stay in this unique, traditional Eighteenth Century, rural cottage set in the quiet, peaceful countryside yet be in the heart of lively downtown Belfast within ten minutes.

This two bedroom cottage is ideally situated to offer you a central base from which to explore the city and the province. You could take in the scenery of the Antrim Coast and the world famous Giants Causeway (90 minutes) or the Down Coast and Newcastle (50 minutes) where the Mourne Mountains sweep down to the sea. Perhaps even a trip to the Ulster Folk Museum (30 minutes) to experience how we used to live or a visit to Armagh (45 minutes) the spiritual heartland of Saint Patrick’s country and Downpatrick (40 minutes) to see his burial site.

No matter what you choose to do you can return at anytime to a comfortable, clean cottage where you can relax, unwind and get ready for the next days adventure. Maybe you don’t want to do anything, then sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet – get the barbecue going, read a book from the library or go for a walk.

Too hot outside? Then step inside and feel the cool that an old thick stone walled cottage can offer. Feeling chilly? Light the fire and throw on the logs and turf, put on a video or DVD, the choice is yours.
