Glendun Self Catering Cushendun

About

Glendun self catering is a holiday home that opened for the summer of 2012.

It is a luxurious house that has been tastefully adapted to cater for both able and disabled persons. The house is spacious and all areas are accessible. The kitchen is wheelchair friendly and the whole home has been designed for independent living. All bedrooms have their own en-suite, and one having its own spacious wet room with digital shower so the water is at the right temperature before you go anywhere near it.

There is a garden patio area that has an out door fireplace and BBQ area with purpose built gazebo and decking taking in the panoramic views of Craiga woods right down the valley to Cushendun Bay.

Situated in the heart of the Glens makes it a perfect place for exploring the Giants Causeway, Glens of Antrim and Antrim Coast. This area is very popular with walkers and cyclists. On the same site right next to the self catering unit we have a large B&B www.glenneireannhousecushendun.co.uk, so between both, we can take large groups whether it be walking, cycling, wedding parties or large group contact us for details.

We are close to the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle are all a short drive away. The Queen of the Glens Glenarife with its beautiful scenery, Forest Walks and Waterfalls are all minutes drive from here, as is The Torr Head scenic drive a must for its views of Scotland, or for the more ambitious of cyclists this one will test the best of you. The local village is preserved by the National Trust, with its picturesque harbour and sandy beach and village square which replicates Cornish style village.

You can be sure of a quiet peaceful stay at Glendun Self Catering with its amazing views.
