About

A courtyard cottage on the Crom estate, finished with a homely interior and open fire.

Alder is a cosy cottage located at the heart of the Crom Estate. It’s part of a complex of rustic cottages that have had many uses over the years including farm workers accommodation, a piggery and toy factory.

Warm up by the open fire after a day spent exploring the beautiful Crom Estate, which is set on the shores of the Upper Lough Erne. You can go canoeing along its trail where you’ll discover its scattered islands and narrow channels. Crom is home to a wealth of wildlife, discover it whether you are fishing, woodland walking, butterfly spotting or bird watching. At Crom you can experience the surroundings from a unique perspective when you hire one of our boats

Further afield, spend a day discovering Cuilcagh Mountain. Alternatively, you could take to the water at Enniskillen and board a boat to the nearby Devenish Island.
