About

Black Knowe is a luxury glamping pod site overlooking Fair Head, in the heart of Ballycastle. Cosy, comfortable and in the heart of nature.

Enjoy our luxury pod accommodation along the stunning North Coast. Make your holiday unique in our well-equipped pods - comforts of home and the warmth of the pod keep you cosy. Pods are for up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) with a comfy double bed and hotel-quality bed-linen included, plus integrated bunkbeds tucked away, ideal for tweens or teens. We are open all year round, but please note that it is a minimum 2 night stay during July and August.

With self-check-in/out you are safe, secure, but can create your own holiday experience. BBQ and camp fire pack are recommended! Black Knowe is the perfect rural getaway along the Causeway Coastal Route. The pods are cosy, fully furnished and have all the comforts of home including electric, running water, ensuite shower, mini fridge and heating.

Just a meander from the coast, you’re within reach of spectacular scenery and attractions. Drive to Dunluce Castle, sandy beaches, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, the Giant’s Causeway, The Dark Hedges and whiskey distilleries. Explore all that the area has to offer with an overnight stay in one of four pods situated on a farm based site. The pods are part of your holiday.

Each pod features an expansive glazed entrance, coffee dock, shower room, and somewhere to sit and relax.

You also have a dedicated fire pit at your pod. We are within a working farm so you will see the cows and sheep grazing the fields nearby, or the wild hens wandering around. Plus some Al Paca's! We have wild flowers, potato fields and lush green land all around us. The site is also a few miles from Ballycastle town so you can visit the beach, grab an ice cream or head out for dinner and drinks!
