Basil Sheils Self-Catering Accommodation Armagh

About

This two-bedroom apartment, which has been renovated to preserve the early Irish farmhouse charm and character, comes fully equipped with all necessary kitchen appliances and bathroom furnishings. If however, you don't feel like cooking whilst on holiday, you are only steps away from The Forge Restaurant @ Basil Sheils where you will discover a unique, warm and inviting restaurant that serves delicious food and a fabulous atmosphere to go with it.

The perfect picturesque surroundings in Tassagh is steeped in history and lies within a beautiful valley where the River Callan flows. There are many places worth visiting - including the remains of early Celtic dwellings and the Tassagh Viaduct - a feat of railway engineering and much more.

Basil Sheils is approximately 7 miles from Armagh City with the Palace Stables Heritage Centre and St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral and Roman Catholic Cathedral amongst a few of the many attractions located within the city. Situated in the centre of Northern Ireland, this makes Basil Sheils a great place to base yourself if you want to tour around the province. In less than 80 minutes, if you head west, you can find yourself at the Fermanagh Lakes, Marble Arch Caves and the famous Cuilcagh Boardwalk. Or head north east to Castle Ward near Strangford, County Down where Game of Thrones was filmed. Belfast International Airport is 50 miles from our premises and Dublin Airport is 70 miles away.
