About

Killough is a quiet picturesque village close to historic Downpatrick and Ardglass fishing village and marina. Situated on the Irish Sea shore, overlooking Coney Island (made famous by Van Morrison) also is the setting for the Oscar winning short film ‘The Shore’.

Close to award winning Links Golf Courses, Ardglass and Royal County Down. Also Castleward , location site of Winterfell Game of Thrones, Strangford Village (Home in Autumn to the Brent geese).

Travel to Newcastle, St Johns Point Lighthouse, Belfast and the famous Giants Causeway, Cara Na Mara is a beautiful recently renovated 2 bedroom cottage overlooking the sea. It is very well equipped and has a lovely garden, which is child friendly and gets the evening sun (perfect for BBQ’s in the summer).
