Family-run fully renovated and modernised mid-terrace house, originally built in the early 1800s and is typical of an Irish '2up 2down' of the period.

Situated in a historic village in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the property has been extensively modernised without losing its original character or charm. It now features all modern conveniences to enhance your stay. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement (conditions apply). Living Room and Dining Area. Separate fully fitted kitchen and separate Utility room. 2 Bedrooms - 1 large room and 1 smaller room each with a double bed. A cot and high chair is available on request. Bathroom with bath and separate shower. Private garden with BBQ and seating leading to private off road parking.

An excellent base to explore locally or further afield with easy access to public transport (bus), you will not be disappointed. Local attractions include Mount Stewart House and Gardens, Scrabo Tower, The Somme Heritage Centre, Ballycopeland Windmill, Greyabbey Abbey, Castle Ward, Exploris, Castle Espie (WWT) and many more. Slightly further afield is the Giant's Causeway, Antrim Glens and Coastal Route, Ulster American Folk Park. 2 minutes walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, antiques & collectables, pub. Close to Strangford Lough offering water sport activities.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Strangford Lough and the Ards Peninsula, lies the historic Village of Grey Abbey within easy access from major ports and airports, Greyabbey is situated approximately 40 minutes drive from Belfast City and the Harbour, only 30 minutes drive from the George Best Belfast International Airport and approximately 2 Hours Drive from Dublin. From Belfast Take the A2 towards Bangor then follow the signs for Newtownards on the A21. Alternatively from Belfast you can take the A20 to Newtownards. From Newtownards Take the A20 to Grey Abbey. Grey Abbey is the first village you will reach about 7 miles from Newtownards. At Greyabbey At the mini-roundabout in Grey Abbey follow the signs for the Abbey. 38 Main Street is situated approximately 100 yards on the left hand side.
