The town hosts the annual Red Sails Festival in July, offering a wide range of family friendly entertainment such as local and internationally renowned bands and musicians, dancing troupes, artists, competitions and stunning firework displays. The Red Arrows make regular appearances at this event.

The summer months also see the area take part in the the annual North West 200, Ireland’s largest outdoor sporting event. The motorcycle racing circuit runs between the towns of Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine, so you wont have to travel too far with all the action taking place on the door step!

The 40,000 interlocking basalt columns steeped in mythology are Northern Ireland's premier tourist attraction. Nearby, other attractions such as Dunluce Castle, Whiterocks Beach, Carrickarede rope bridge, Bushmills distillery and Mussenden Temple impress visitors to the North Coast. Coleraine, just a 10 minute drive away, offers more retail therapy.
