Wildlife Walks at the Ulster Folk Museum

About

Please note that the Wildlife Walk on Friday 5th December has been cancelled.

Take a walk around the nature-rich grounds of the Folk museum and talk to CEDaR staff as you learn how to identify and record plants and animals.

This is a beginner's guide to biological recording! Based in Northern Ireland, CEDaR (Centre for Environmental Data and Recording) encourages our citizen scientists to submit their species sightings. These records help us track species trends, write reports, inform legislators, locate our endangered species and much more. They also help tackle the biodiversity crisis and the impacts of climate change.

Join us on an informal guided walk as you try your hand at identifying species found in the grounds of the Ulster Folk Museum!

What to know:
-Your ticket includes general admission to the museum. Please come before or stay after to enjoy the museum.
-Choose our Green Ticket and save 20% if you travel to the event by public transport. The discount will be applied when a valid public transport ticket is presented.
-Meet your guide outside the Tea Rooms.
