About

Hike to the secret spots and immerse in the rivers of the Mourne Mountains. An activity that explores the trending cold water and wild swimming craze. Including hiking, wild dipping, forest bathing and cold water therapy. Our trained and highly experienced Mountain Leaders and cold water specialists guide you into the hidden landscapes of the Mourne Mountains to the spots we love the most. Visitors will experience how to safely and enjoyable enter the world of cold water therapy and wild swimming, whilst we take you through the fundamentals.

Our activity begins in Tollymore Forest park where we shall hike though forest and onto open mountain side. Your hike will last 45 minutes to 1 hour. We shall locate a dipping pool and run our fundamentals session for approximately 30 mins. Enjoy a warm tea and some banter post dip before returning through the forest to the carpark. The return hike should last 45 minutes.

Please park in the Tollymore Forest Carpark and meet us by the toilet block. You should see our branded landrover.

Experiences happen every Saturday morning.

Coming from Belfast - Follow signs for Castlewellan. From Castlewellan follow signs for Newcastle. Turn off Newcastle Road for Bryansford. Before Bryansford take left onto Bryansford Road. Approximately 0.5 miles turn right into Tollymore Forest Park. Approximately 1 hour 10 mins

Coming from Newry - Follow signs for Hilltown. Through Hilltown and follow signs for Newcastle. Through Bryansford and turn right onto Bryansford Road. Approximately 0.5 miles turn right into Tollymore Forest Park. Approximately 40 minutes.

Public Transport Directions

Take bus to Newcastle Bus Station. Take Public Bus to Bryansford Gate entrance to Tollymore Forest Park.
