Join me in my kitchen on the shores of Strangford Lough in County Down, just 30 minutes from Belfast. You’ll be welcomed into my home with the aroma of home made Fruit Soda Bannock as it comes out of the oven. You’ll enjoy this sweet treat with some award winning Irish butter. Then it’s time for some Griddle Bread making! Aprons on and we’ll make traditional breads – Soda breads, Wheaten and Potato. Our Breads are all made on the Griddle and they’re ready to eat within 15 minutes of making them! There is no need to weigh or measure anything – we make these breads in the traditional way!
Breads made – you’ll have worked up an appetite! I will have made some delicious Soda Focaccia bread, and other sweet treats – bring an appetite! What you don’t eat – you’ll have to take home with you!
You’ll take home a big bag of your homemade Breads to enjoy as part of our famous Ulster Fry, or just with a cup of tea.
