With a fantastic line-up of stand-up comics, Ireland’s longest running and best-loved comedy festival, The Cat Laughs is coming to Belfast for the very first time! Taking place from 22nd-26th May, the festival will bring some of the hottest comedians right now to multiple venues across the city.

Belfast’s reputation as a comedy city has exploded over the last decade, with a new wave of local comics selling out huge venues, alongside a new & endless stream of international A list comics visiting the city, and hundreds of thousands of fans attending shows across the city each year.

Expect to see lots of home grown talent like Colin Murphy, Colin Geddis, Diona Doherty, Vittorio Angelone, Paddy Raff, Paddy McDonnell

Over the years The Cat Laughs festival has nurtured the fledgling careers of Irish acts like Dara Ó Briain, Aisling Bea, Graham Norton, Dylan Moran, Maeve Higgins, Ardal O’Hanlon, Joanne McNally, Deirdre O’Kane, David O’Doherty, Des Bishop and many, many more. We have also welcomed international luminaries like Bill Murray, Zach Galifianakis, Laura Kightlinger, Bill Burr, George Wendt, Ross Noble, Peter Kay, Bill Bailey, Tig Notaro, Emo Philips and Sarah Millican among others.
