About
Sunset Paddle & BBQ is a guided canoe, kayak, or paddle boarding (sup) experience amongst the drumlin islands of County Down with our knowledgeable instructors on Strangford Lough. Our friendly guides will help you perfect your paddling skills. Having grown up in the local area, they will regale you with facts, folklore and historical tales of the lough and the local area.
Stop off at an island and enjoy a sumptuous BBQ. Feel free to explore the island at your leisure, whilst being respectful of the native wildlife. We will send young people on a scavenger hunt whilst they are waiting on the food to cook. Watch the sailing, spot the seals and enjoy the sights of the diving birds. After that, watch the sunset on your return to base.
What to Bring - Welly Boots/Old trainers, towel & waterproof jacket/trousers.
Dietary Requirements - Please ensure that you check with all members of your party regarding food allergies, intolerances, and dietary requirements prior to booking tickets. It is the responsibility of the ticketholder to inform a member of staff at the host venue about food allergies, intolerances and specific dietary requirements.
