St James' Church of Ireland EHOD 2025

37 The Square, Moy, County Tyrone, BT71 7SG
St James' Church of Ireland EHOD 2025

About

St James' Church of Ireland is a Grade 1 listed building some 200 years old and (together with the adjacent rectory and church hall) occupies a magnificent setting overlooking the historic village of Moy Co Tyrone (NI).

The exterior of the church has recently been restored ensuring the fabric of the church is secured into the future - this work has attracted many compliments enhancing the beauty of the church.

The main features inside the church include a number of stained glass windows. During the work (referred to above) a number of these windows were removed and expertly restored by specialist contract. Many have remarked how stunning they look - particularly as the sun's rays shine through during morning worship. Thanks to the efforts and generosity of the congregation a further contract is planned to enhance the inside of the church.

Visitors will be greeted by a member of the Select Vestry and a pamphlet will be available to facilitate self-guided tours.
