Walking Tour of Milford Village.

Discover the Model village of Milford. Built around the celebrated linen manufacturing firm of McCrum, Watson & Mercer. The village was the creation of Robert G. McCrum (1829-1915). Discover the village School which held record as best National School in Ireland, the R.G McCrum Institute which has a ballroom larger than city hall. Milford railwayline has longest platform of any in GNR line. Walk includes walk around perimeter of Milford House (now of of Northern Ireland's top ten listed buildings) where you can discover why this extraordinary house was wonder of its age. And visit to world famous McCrum Park, where William McCrum invented penalty kick. Here tales of some of Milford's eccentric residents.
