About

"Memory Anchors - is an interactive Mixed Reality installation, which magically visualises special memories of Sailortown locals of all ages. Immersive Installation is situated in the altar area of St Joseph's church (now deconsecrated), historic central gathering point for the dockers community, that shares the story of transformation of the area.

Memory Anchors is created by Sailortown in collaboration with visual artist Katya Solomatina. The project received support from Maritime Mile, Belfast City Council, HUB-IN, European Horizons programme, Sailortown Regeneration Office and Shared History Interpretative Project."
