Look Closer: Screenings and Mini Lab Workshops

Ulster Folk Museum, 153 Bangor Road, Cultra, County Down, BT18 0EU
Child looking into a microscope with an adult assisting.

About

Led by scientists from Queen's University Belfast and CEDaR, kids will use real microscopes to take a closer look at fascinating little curiosities from nature.

Just like the Nogglins, your child will have the chance to 'Look Closer' at nature's wonders and embark on a fun-filled journey of discovery. If your child has a tiny object they'd love to see under a microscope, bring it along for an up-close examination.

Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to introduce your child to the amazing world of science and nature!

What to know:
Please note, there are three sessions for this event - 10:30, 12:00 and 14:00. Each session lasts approx. 45 minutes. Film screening will last approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 25-minute Mini Lab session.

Parental supervision is required for all Mini Lab Workshop participation.
