About

Join Make Space Studio to study Irish painting on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October at the Ulster Museum.

Drawing inspiration from works by Jack Butler Yeats and Roderic O'Conor in the 'Light from the West: Irish Art after 1870' exhibition, you'll explore dynamic brushwork and vibrant palettes through a series of guided exercises.

This course is suitable for both beginners and art lovers looking to improve their skills. An ideal opportunity to connect with Irish art in the Ulster Museum collections while developing techniques in a supportive environment.

What to know:
-This two-day course will take place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October.
-The course will run from 11:00 to 16:00, with a 45-minute lunch break on both dates.
-All materials and equipment provided.
-Suitable for beginner and intermediate painters aged 18+.
