Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum EHOD 2025

About

Behind the scenes at Lisburn Museum.

As part of EHOD 2025, the museum is throwing open its doors for two unique tours. First, enjoy a new view of 'Lisburn from Above' with our clock tower tour. The museum’s clock tower has dominated Lisburn’s skyline since the early 19th century. But have you seen the view from one of the town's oldest structures? This year, enjoy a brief tour of the tower, followed by breathtaking panoramic views of Lisburn.*

(*The stairs are steep, and the site is not accessible with a wheelchair. An accessible version of the tour is available in the Assembly Room). Second, join curatorial staff and explore treasures from the collection on a guided tour of the museum and its artefact store. This is a rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes, and delve into the museum’s rich collection of linen damask, local history objects or precious art.**

(**The Artefact store is not accessible with a wheelchair. An accessible version of the tour is available on request).

For 'Lisburn from Above!', tours are every half-hourly, from 10am-noon, 1pm-4pm. We can accommodate 6 people per half hour slot. Collections Tours are 10-noon, 1pm-4pm. We can accommodate 10 people per hour slot.
