Harvest marks the end of the growing season when crops are finally ready for gathering and processing, and we invite you to experience it for yourself! Roll up your sleeves and get stuck in with potato picking and apple harvesting, or enjoy the smells of baking demonstrations in our traditional cottages.
Try your hand at making your own harvest knot, and see harvest skills in action on the Folk Museum working farm! Explore the museum's exhibit buildings, decorated for harvest, enjoy traditional music sessions, and discover Ulster-Scots music traditions with Willie Hill. You can even step into an original Picture House to view archive films of Harvests past.
