About
Visitors will be invited into Ebrington Presbyterian Church, a historic building housing a living and on-going congregation.
Ebrington Presbyterian Church is a striking Neo-Classical style building located prominently on the Limavady Road of Derry/Londonderry, opposite the Ebrington Square complex.
When on the City’s Peace Bridge make sure to look for the church building with its antique pink walls and mock pillars. It can be seen facing away from the Guildhall building and towards the Ebrington Hotel.
The main church building was opened in 1897 designed by architect William Barker. Inside the church is a classical wooden interior and features two beautiful stained glass by Belfast firm Clokey. These can be seen on the bottom floor and feature images associated with Jesus as the Good Shepherd and The Apostle Paul. Sunday worship and a variety of activities continue to take place within this historic building.
A rolling short talk will explain the traditions of the church and current weekly events. Tea and coffee will be served to visitors.
