About

Welcome to Carnival of Colours 2025! Brought to you by In Your Space Circus.

We are back once again with the best Circus, Music & Street Arts Festival for its age in Derry. And as usual… we’ve come to slay.

We are taking over the city streets on 21 & 22nd of June - just as the kids are finishing up at school and summer is kicking off… yes, we do bring the party.

For your amusement (and ours) we have collected some of the finest circus & street theatre acts on the planet! So… what have we got lined up for you this year? Deep breath… here we go…

The incredible Mr Dyvinetz will dazzle with his combination of cyr wheel and acrobatic bike riding (yes you read that right)... The phenomenal Sam Goodburn will present his show-stopping unicycle on a tightwire act… Expect hearts in throats and custard creams in mouths… (you’ll understand when you see it). Hands Down Circus will present ‘Tape That’ - a highly skilled and hilarious acrobatic and clowning show which asks ‘how many problems can be solved with a roll of tape?’ World renowned clown Nakupelle will be bringing his one-man chaos contraption to Guildhall Square with ‘The Trap’. Grant Goldie will be carrying out his incredible assault on gravity and the South Asian Dance Academy will be bringing big beats and major moves to the festival!

And as if that wasn’t enough, our own incredible local artists will be having all the craic on the streets with their wonderful roaming performances.
We’re also bringing back our fabulous pocket-sized festival-within-a-festival with Park Vibes in The Peace Garden, where you can try some circus skills, get your face painted and soak up the festy vibes! (BYO picnic).

Rock & roll legends The Nerve Centre will take over Waterloo Place with CLASStonbury. Expect big tunes and epic beats!

And that’s not even it… there’s more! But you’ll have to come & see for yourself…
Join us from 1-6pm daily on 21 & 22nd June for Carnival of Colours 2025
