Armagh Robinson Library EHOD 2025

43 Abbey Street, Armagh, County Armagh, BT61 7DY
Armagh Robinson Library EHOD 2025

About

We invite you to see the original architectural drawings for the Library, to find out how you would have gained access in the early years of the life of the Library and why the Library was made larger some 70 years later. While looking around, we invite you to look up and let us know what you think of the Long Room's ceiling.

Following this year's theme ‘ Architectural Heritage: Past Structures, Future Connections’, Armagh Robinson Library has been a public library in its original building since 1771. The building itself is a fine example of a past structure of architectural importance. While remaining a working library, it is also an accredited museum and a graded visitor attraction, making connections with all ages. A young visitor wrote in our visitor book that the Library is the best in the world! We invite you to visit the Library to see if he is right.
