The Ards International Guitar Festival is back with a bang in April 2026 celebrating 30 years of guitar inspired gigs and free fringe events!
Expect a jam-packed line-up of blues, folk, rock, bluegrass and classical and contemporary music for guitar aficionados across Newtownards.
Highlights of this year’s festival include a stunning tribute to John Martyn with local legends Ken Haddock and Collie McClean, world guitar virtuoso Pierre Bensusan and the outstanding Andy McKee. Matthew McAllister makes his festival debut with support from the Classical Guitar Society of Northern Ireland. You’ll also find an In-the-Round with festival favourites Matt McGinn, Eilidh Patterson and Anthony Toner.
