Set deep in the Lagan Valley, Edenmore Golf & Country Club is just 20 minutes from Belfast. The Club has a range of facilities for all visitors, including an 18 hole championship Golf Course, Spa, Restaurant, Fitness Suite and onsite accommodation.The 18 hole championship course, designed by Frank Ainsworth along with brothers Kenneth and James Logan, is a fine example of parkland golf. It features over 6000 yards of challenging tee shots, fairways and greens interspersed with ponds, streams and mature parkland.
Golfers always wonder why they took on the pond on the signature par 5 13th hole. Surrounded with mature trees, the 13th green has a small landing area just ahead of the daunting pond. Reachable in two by the skilled golfers, the undulating green has several tough pin positions to protect the eagle putts. A true risk and reward hole.
The length of the course is 6278 yards from the medal tees. It has a good mix of risk and reward holes to entertain the better players without discouraging the lesser skilled. The course has an array of practice facilities surrounding the magnificent club house making it very convenient to warm-up, relax or fuel up before your round.
