Cityside Retail and Leisure Park is one of the most accessible and visible locations in Belfast. It is located on the Northern edge of Belfast City Centre on York Street, adjacent to the M2 and M3 motorways. The M1 motorway is a short distance away connected via the Westlink. Coming from the M1 and Westlink, the scheme is accessed via York Street. Coming from the M2 and M3, the scheme is accessed via Dock Street and then Brougham Street.
By Bus
You can reach Cityside via a number of bus routes — several stop close by.
• Buses that serve the area include 1D, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D (among others).
• Depending on where you are coming from, other routes such as 61, 64, 64B, 13, 14 (or circular/area-specific variants) may also stop close to Cityside.
• Nearest bus stops:
o Yorkgate / Yorkgate Station — about a 2-4 minute walk.
o Northside Park & Ride — about a 5-9 minute walk.
o Nelson Street (Dock Street) — about a 7-12 minute walk.
So if you're coming from Belfast city centre or surrounding suburbs, catch one of those bus lines and alight at Yorkgate / Yorkgate Station or Northside Park & Ride, then walk a few minutes.
By Train + Walk
You can also get there by train. The nearest rail-station is Yorkgate Station — the walking distance from there to Cityside is just a few minutes.
From Yorkgate: after you get off the train, it's a short walk to the retail/leisure park.
Practical Tips
• When using buses, check live schedules (via the official transit app or website) — some lines go via "City Centre → Fairview Road / Monkstown / New Mossley / etc." but still stop near Cityside.
• From central Belfast, "2-series" buses (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) tend to be among the most direct.
• If you arrive by train at Yorkgate, prepare for a short walk — only a few minutes.
