About

Carnfunnock Country Park is now closed for redevelopment.  The £7 million redevelopment of Carnfunnock commenced on Monday 7 July 2025. The project will last for approximately 15 months but there will still be pedestrian access and access to the dog exercise area throughout the redevelopment. (Please see map for further details on access arrangements).   Car parking is available at nearby Drains Bay or Carnfunnock Bay with toilets available at Drains Bay.  This exciting project will include:

•  New visitor centre

•  Improved accessibility

•  Bike Park

•  Upgraded adventure playpark

•  Improved caravan park services

You can keep up to date with the progress of your new Carnfunnock via our website:    https://orlo.uk/Carnfunnock_qKzug  This project is funded by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
