About

Gail, the passionate baker behind The Pantry @ Bramble Hill, shares her love for traditional, Irish farmhouse bakes, through engaging and interesting baking demonstrations. Recipes are shared and brought to life before your eyes...with tasting included!

With a background in catering and a passion for baking and inspiring others to bake fresh, good quality food, Gail shares the same family-favourite recipes she uses at home. There are no preservatives, just quality ingredients (locally sourced where possible) and plenty of heart in every bake.

Two Ways to enjoy the experience of home baking:

At Bramble Hill - For smaller groups, come along to Gail’s farmhouse kitchen in the heart of the countryside for an intimate baking demonstration (maximum of 6 guests). Sit back, relax, and watch as she prepares traditional favourites including Irish breads like soda farls, fadge (potato bread), and pancakes or some fresh scones, cupcakes, or other goodies. Tea/coffee along with tasting the fresh bakes is included.

At Your Venue - Hosting a private event or special gathering? Gail can bring her delicious demonstration to you! Available for groups of up to 50 people, these sessions are perfect for community groups, corporate events, or casual get-togethers. Everyone gets to sample the bakes as part of the experience!

These are demonstrations only, not hands-on classes - so all you have to do is watch, learn, and savour each bite. Various levels of demonstration are available starting with 'Baking for Beginners'. Recipes are shared and there are always helpful tips and advice provided. Demonstrations last for approximately 2 hours and usually consist of up to 6 items/recipes.
