Mitre Restaurant

The Mitre Restaurant remains one of the finest restaurants in Northern Ireland where guests enjoy food prepared by Paul McKnight, one of the country's leading chefs. It has received many coveted accolades, including an AA Rosette. With an air of gothic elegance, the Mitre Restaurant is the most tranquil area to enjoy a varied menu.

There is a wide choice available on the A La Carte menu and you can be sure of fresh Irish produce, fresh herbs and micro leaves from our herb garden and the flair and talent of our chefs to create the finest of dishes. The result is fine cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere not to be missed!

Our resident piano player is in situ on weekend nights entertaining guests in our lounge both before and after dinner. A traditional Sunday lunch is served on our restaurant from 12:30 to15:00.
A casual lounge menu is available each day in the hotel from 09:00 - 17:00. Private dining is available for parties of over 12 people in a selection of beautiful suites such as the very popular drawing room, which oozes charm and character, or the exclusive new Ailsa and Balmoral Suites in the Highland Centre. All have magnificent views overlooking Belfast Lough and the County Antrim coastline or the beautifully manicured Culloden gardens.

Private dining offers a variety of menus from the hotel's special private gourmet menu selection. Guests can also enjoy a more informal meal or drink in the Cultra Inn set in the hotel gardens. The Cultra Inn has an airy yet relaxing atmosphere and is renowned for serving some of the most satisfying and wholesome food in the area.
Open all day from 11:30 with a comprehensive A La Carte menu.
