The Home House

About

The Home House is a beautiful, secluded traditional cottage nestled in the hills just outside of Plumbridge, in the heart of the Sperrin Mountains. Allow yourself to get lost in the serenity of the surrounding countryside and romanticism of this tastefully renovated cottage.

The quiet, short laneway towards the cottage gives way to a beautiful south facing view over the Glenelly Valley, and the cottage gardens and free parking area. A traditional stable door leads into a relaxing, quaint ground floor with kitchen, dining room and living room, all in open plan. Make yourself at home on the reclining sofa, or relax with one of our collection of books in the reading room, or in front of the cosy wood burning stove.

Upstairs you will be greeted by two comfortable traditional bedrooms with outstanding views from the traditional sliding sash windows across the Sperrin mountains.

The Home House is located only 25 minutes from Derry, 20 minutes from Omagh and a 1 hour drive from the north coast. Right on your doorstep you will find the village of Plumbridge, the untouched Glenelly Valley, the Gortin Glens Forest Park and village of Gortin.
