The Harrison

About

The Harrison Chambers of Distinction Belfast are restored, landmark Victorian merchants’ residences dating from 1879 designed to serve the culturally curious traveller. Learn all about the first family to live here and their fascinating lives. If you are looking for a Heritage place to stay that is quirky and fun this is the place.

Owner Melanie Harrison has expertly woven past and present into an individual celebration of a city like no other. Each of the 17 rooms combines pieces collected by Melanie over many years with the very best facilities that the 21st-century traveller demands and expects. Friendly staff will give you the inside track on what the best attractions and music and cultural events are happening in Belfast city centre and around.

Huge bay windows, antique furniture, sumptuous velvet curtains and bathtubs in the bedrooms combine elegance with underlying mischief and tongue-in-cheek humour lurking beneath. Eccentric curios and surprises await to delight around every corner.

Comfortable beds with starched white linens you can sink into at any time of the day or night and soundproofed rooms to help you enjoy a peaceful, heavenly, restful nights sleep when you stay with us.

Voted Trip Advisor Travellers Choice Winners  - Best of the Best 2024, ranking 16th for Best Small& Boutique Hotels in the UK and awarded #65 in the Irish Independent's "Hot 100 Hotels" 2024, it offers a brilliantly individual stay.

The Harrison is on the doorstep of some of Belfast's finest restaurants such as Deane's at Queens, The Barking Dog and Schuh. It is also only a short walk from the city centre. There is also free secure car parking to the rear of the building.

Pricing is based on room rates, not per person sharing.
