St Patrick's Hall Apartment No. 2

Apt 2 St Patrick's Hall, 50A Shore Road, Portaferry, Newtownards, Co Down, BT22 1JZ

About

St Patrick's Hall lies in the heart of main street Portaferry. The Victorian church hall has been sympathetically converted into three luxury apartments. Original features such as stone walls, exposed brick and wooden beams have been retained but the property has been embellished with three double bedrooms, a modern kitchen and a picture window leading to a balcony with excellent views over the marina to Strangford Lough beyond.

This delightfully renovated Victorian Parochial Hall is imaginatively presented with a bright fitted kitchen, which opens on to a spacious lounge with a cosy seating area at one end. The lounge opens onto a balcony with stunning views over Strangford Lough. In an alcove off the lounge is a dining area to seat six to eight people. Beside it is a tower room with a well stocked bookcase and space for an office. From the front door a wide corridor runs to the rear of the apartment giving access to a utility room, a bathroom, a twin bedroom, a cloakroom, and two large double bedrooms with en suites. The property has a balcony to the front and a utility yard to the rear. Parking is on the street outside the apartment.

Within the immediate vicinity of Portaferry there are several walks including a two mile circular walk to Windmill Hill, a one mile woodland walk into the Agnew Estate and a short dander along the waterfront. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, namely the Michelin starred Portaferry Hotel, the Saltwater Brig and a number of local cafes and takeaways which will satisfy all appetites. Portaferry also has several small grocery stores, a pharmacy, health centre, post office, bank, petrol station, pubs with traditional Irish music and a craft shop.
