Luxury 2 bedroom self catering beach front apartment on the North Coast

The Kerr street area in Portrush offers convenient access to activities for everyone including swimming, walking, surfing, cycling, fishing, paddle boarding and of course the attraction of the world-famous golfing facilities. There are numerous restaurants / cafes / take out facilities located nearby, combined with the retail outlets and amusement venues in the town. 

Lounge /Dining/Kitchen: In the lounge area the large front window looks out across Portrush west bay with beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean towards Portstewart and the Donegal coast in the distance over which the sun sets in the evening. In the immediate forefront you'll overlook the famous Kerr Street Green, the west strand and Portrush harbour. The wall mounted tv comes with Freeview.

The dining area has a free-standing dining table and four chairs. Front door access is remotely controlled by a video/audio device which is wall mounted adjacent to the door.

 The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher.  There are drawers, cupboards and pull-out larder containing pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, tin /bottle opener, glassware and a dishwasher! There are extra drying cloths in the drawers beside the sink. There are four wall mounted paintings and one wall mounted clock, one table light and one free standing lamp, combined with four occasional floor tables.

Master bedroom and ensuite: King size bed with bedside lockers, bed side lights and four wall hanging paintings. There is a large double wardrobe with hanging and drawer space.  The fully tiled en suite has walk in shower, wash hand basin with storage beneath, illuminated, mirror fronted vanity cabinet, heated towel rails and toilet. Please be careful when getting in or out of the shower / bath as the floor can become slippy. Please use the non-slip mat provided. There is a hair dryer provided.  External windows tilt and turn to open.

Bedroom 2:Double bed with bedside locker, bed side light, three wall hanging paintings. There is a large double wardrobe with hanging and drawer space. There is a vacuum cleaner and an infra-red heater contained in the wardrobe cupboard. External window tilts and turns to open.

Main bathroom: The bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with hand held shower attachment, walk in shower, wash hand basin with storage beneath, mirror fronted vanity cabinet, heated towel rails and toilet. 

Utility facilities: You have access to a washing machine and dryer if you really feel inclined!!. The air extraction system is turned on/off in the cupboard. 

South Pier block can be accessed from Kerr Street through the key pad located at the blue pedestrian door.  Apartment No. 6 is on the second floor. A lift is available if required. Access is also available from Mark Street, through the electrically operated car park gates. The apartment is down one floor on level two. 

A designated car parking space is available on the right, marked number 6.

Information on the area;

For those with a passion for motorcycles the North West 200 motorcycle circuit passes at Metropole Corner, and if you wish to travel at a slightly slower pace there are excellent cycle paths around the North Coast area.

Golfers have the option to visit either of Portstewart's three Golf Courses or on the doorstep is the world famous Royal Portrush Golf Course and Rathmore, with natural seaside links, deep bunkers and expansive roughs, overlooked by the 13th century Dunluce Castle. There are several other championship courses on the North Coast including Castlerock and Bushfoot.

Anglers have a choice of fishing for salmon on the River Bush, in sight of the famous Old Bushmills Whisky Distillery, or visiting Ballylagan Fishery, a spring fed lake stocked with rainbow trout. For those with the sea legs to cope, enquires can be made at Portrush harbour to organise a Sea fishing experience which departs daily during the summer.

The historic and picturesque Dunluce Castle and world-renowned Giants Causeway are less than 10 miles to the East. A few miles inland allows you to walk through the Dark Hedges and the familiar scenery made famous by Game of Thrones.  The Market town of Coleraine is 10 mins drive away and provides an excellent retail shopping experience.

Train services depart frequently (three minutes past the hour, every hour) to Coleraine where onward connections are available to Derry~Londonderry and Belfast and all locations en route. Bus services depart to all local towns and services to the scenic North Coast.
