About

Redbarn is a delightful log cabin nestled at the foot of Cavehill Mountain, Belfast. A bespoke self catering unit with a sunken garden and secluded seating area. It is the idyllic blend of both city and rural living, as it is based 5 minute drive outside the city centre. After a long walk over the Belfast hills or a busy day of sightseeing, you can hunker down with a cosy blanket on the rocking chair listening to the sounds of the forest. The cabin has 3 rooms-main room, bedroom and bathroom. The main room has a kitchen, large dining/work table and 2 seating areas. One of these seating areas has a sofa bed. The bedroom a bespoke double bunk bed. The bottom bunk is cosy and enclosed, the top bunk has view of Belfast lough and can be used as a bed or as a reading hideaway. Outside there is a handcrafted outdoor seating area which is partially covered from the rain and a long garden.
Redbarn also hosts a range of guided art events, which can be attended as an individual, couple or larger group - these include Paint and Pour classes, Pottery days and Art in nature retreats. Adult Paint and Pour classes are sociable events that enable you to complete a painting in 2 hours whilst enjoying your favourite tipple. Pottery days can be attended as a half day or full day session, tailored to either handbuilding or throwing on a wheel. Art in nature retreats optimise the beautiful surroundings of Redbarn, focusing on the positive health and well being benefits of time spent in nature and time being creative.
