About this space

Gooseberry Cottage is a superb, detached cottage set in a private gated development on the shores of Upper Lough Erne, County Fermanagh.  The property runs to the lakeshore via a small woodland complete with a private jetty for guests looking to take advantage of the Fermanagh Lakeland.

Only 5 minutes drive to Share Activity Centre. Marble Arch Caves and Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail approx. 35 minutes drive.

The space

The cottage has 4 bedrooms sleeping 8 people.  Ground floor accommodation comprises ground flower shower room and double bedroom with built-in wardrobe. There is a utility room with washing machine and freezer. The open plan kitchen dining area has French doors leading out to a patio ideal for BBQs.  The living area has a wood burning stove surrounded by luxurious leather sofas, the fully fitted kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons including a microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and ceramic hob. Upstairs, the master bedroom with ensuite has a king-size bed and patio doors leading to a balcony. There are 2 further twin rooms. All bedrooms upstairs have built-in wardrobes. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower. Luxury linen and towels will be provided.

Guest access

There is almost a kilometre of foreshore on the site and 3 acres of woodland lining Upper Lough Erne. A private jetty is accessible for any and all water activities or to simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Other things to note

Gooseberry Cottage is 3/4 of a mile from The Share Holiday Village, which has an indoor pool complex where you can take temporary membership, if you wish to use this facility. A beach is also on-site. Access to private jetty. Less than a mile from The Share Holiday Village. 7-minute drive to restaurants, take-aways and bars.
