About

Where better to celebrate our unique food and drink heritage than via a journey on the River Bann alongside the beautiful historic site of Mountsandel, Coleraine? Situated only 11 miles from the Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site, less than 6 miles from Royal Portrush Golf Club and less than 4 miles from Portstewart Golf Club.

You will retrace the voyages of our ancestors who settled here almost 10,000 years ago; and travel by river with local operators White River Charters, on their vintage vessel, 'MV Kingfisher'. This glorious wooden boat was built by the world-renowned Harland and Wolff shipbuilders in the historic Belfast Shipyard (of Titanic fame!) and has been beautifully restored and tailored to provide visitors with a truly first-class visitor experience.

There are many home comforts on board including covered & comfortable seating, cosy blankets and plenty of good cheer. Exploring the River Bann from the comfort of this style of boat allows you to immerse yourself in nature and absorb the sights and sounds of the changing season where the wooded riverbanks present a burst of vibrant seasonal colours and wildlife.

Relish the flavours of artisanal Irish gins, expertly crafted with local botanicals like sugar kelp. Each gin is a tribute to Ireland's lush landscapes, coast and distilling heritage. Your guide will walk you through the unique profiles of each gin, sharing the fascinating stories behind their creation.

These will be accompanied by a hand-picked selection of award-winning local produce including North Coast Smokehouse hot-smoked salmon, Corndale Farm charcuterie, Dart Mountain cheeses, artisan preserves and sweet treats from around the Causeway Coast.

Reserve your spot today and set sail on a sensory adventure along the river, where every sip flows as smoothly as the water beneath you. Each gin has been selected to tell a story of tradition, craft, and nature and with an atmosphere of relaxation, laughter, and discovery, this makes for an unforgettable experience!

Perfect for couples, friends, or anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting, this gin tasting tour is a truly immersive experience.
