About

The Northern Ireland (NI) Open returns to the Challenge Tour schedule between 25th July - 28th July 2024 (see the full itinerary below).

The NI Open (in association with Tom McKibbon) is the flagship championship event on the European Challenge Tour. Part of the European Tour Group and pathway to the DP World Tour.

Galgorm Castle Golf Club has produced several nail-biting finishes when it has hosted a Challenge Tour event.

The NI Open returns to Galgorm for a 72-hole Stroke Play tournament with a prize fund of over €250,000.

This homegrown event is now in its 15th year and has previously set attendance records when played on the European Challenge tour.

The free-to-attend event will focus on engaging with the local community and create a family friendly event for golfers and non-golfers alike.

Past champions include Ryan Fox (New Zealand), Dermot McElroy (Northern Ireland) and Daan Huizing (Netherlands).
