Moments of Reflection at Castle Ward

Castle Ward, Strangford, Strangford, County Down, BT30 7BA
A woman taking a moment to reflect on the bench in Castle Ward's Sunken Garden

About

We recognize that special days like Mother's Day can be challenging for many, and we want to create a space for reflection, remembrance, and connection. That's why we invite you to join us for our "Moments of Reflection" experience in the serene gardens of Castle Ward.

From March 24 until Mother's Day, stroll through our beautiful gardens adorned with poetry and quotes about mindfulness, grief, and remembrance. Pause to reflect, honour your feelings, and celebrate the memories of loved ones who hold a special place in your heart.

At the end of your walk you'll find a tranquil indoor area to decorate a leaf for our Remembrance Tree or write down your thoughts and wisdom to support others. You can also take home a seed heart to plant wildflowers—beautiful reminders of love and growth.

Together, let's create a space of solace and connection during this time.

Running from March 24 to Mother's Day, 10am-4:30pm daily, at Castle Ward.
