Halloween Half-Term Fun at Armagh Planetarium

College Hill, Armagh, County Armagh, BT61 9DB
Doom It Yourself Live Science Show

About

Join us at the Armagh Planetarium this Halloween half-term, we have a family fun packed schedule of shows and events. A great way to have fun with science and nature.

As well as our normal dome show programme running we have special events:

Spooky Space Dome Show - Looking for cosmic fun this Halloween Half-term? If the answer is yes then come and see our Halloween fulldome show and meet monsters, zombies, and ghosts. Oh yes, space has its monsters: Black holes, zombie stars, and spectacular ghostly nebulae!

Suitable for a family audience but please note that this show is themed to Halloween and features images of zombies, vampires, witches and ghosts so is rated PG.

Halloween Science: Doom It Yourself (Live experiment show) - The Armagh Planetscarium has been taken over by Madam Mayhem, the supervillain to the stars!

Using Armagh as a base, join her as she tries to create a Doomsday Device that will help her to take over the world! But her resident lab tech has gone on holiday. Her replacement, Dr Rok, a force for good from the Royal Institution, has other plans.

Will Madam Mayhem succeed, will Dr Rok bring her around to the wonderous ways of science, or will they go one step too far and destroy the Planetarium?

This is a live experiment show taking place in our Copernicus Hall.
