About

The Fairy Thorn Festival is an action packed three day event located in Kilrea, County Londonderry.

And there really is something for everyone!

They fun commences on Friday 16th August and runs Saturday 17th August and Sunday 18th August.
Enjoy music by local artists and globally recognised Celtic Rock band More Power To Your Elbow.
There is family fun with inflatables, face painting and a fun fair, a vintage steam engine parade, arts and culture with history walking tours, art exhibitions and interviews with peace activist Monica McWilliams, International Rally driver Josh McErlean and poet Anne McMaster.

There will be fun at the fancy dress parade, boat trips on the river Bann and food to enjoy at the big breakfast.
