At Victoria Square, roam through over 70 inviting shops and restaurants with top brands such as Ted Baker, Hollister, Tommy Hilfiger, LK Bennet and Hugo Boss to name just a few. And afterwards head for the Dome for 360 degree views of the city. You’ll be able to take in the entire city, including the famous Harland & Wolff Cranes - Samson and Goliath, to the locals. 

CastleCourt is just a five minute walk away. Its motto is simply: Shop. Eat. Play. Repeat. Which you can do to your heart’s content in over 80 high street stores, including Matalan, New Look and more. 

Seasonal food with style at Avoca

When it's time to refuel, the Avoca Café is a top spot to stop. Its vintage-style surroundings perfectly set off the award-winning food – only ever made from local and seasonal fresh ingredients. While you’re there, check out their modern take on traditional throws and scarves. Or pick up a treat in the food hall.

Space Craft in the Fountain Centre sells an eclectic and unique mix of art and handmade items, sourced from Northern Ireland’s largest craft network, the Craft and Design Collective. Sheldon Art Galleries hosts the work of local artists. Robinsons Shoemakers in Queen’s Arcade will introduce you to the joys of handcrafted Irish brogues. Or try Steensons for locally made contemporary jewellery – much of it inspired by their experience as costume jewellery designers for Game of Thrones®.

Independent designers more your bag? For fashion and homewares, take a stroll down the Lisburn Road. Jo JoMamanBebe, Oliver Bonas and Hugo Thomas are all within reach. 

Don’t miss the famous Victorian market

The famous St. George’s Market has been the site of a Friday market since 1604. These days it’s added Saturday and Sunday markets to its roster. Situated in a stunningly beautiful Victorian building, it’s one of Belfast’s oldest and certainly most colourful attractions. 

Naturally, it’s a great place to pick up fresh produce – the Friday Market boasts 248 stalls, 23 of them fish stalls. Saturday showcases city food, crafts and gardening inspiration, all accompanied by live music from local bands. And there’s no rest on Sunday when it combines the best of both, with the addition of antique sellers.
