About

Join us for a day of foraging and wild cooking

On your foraging walk through the woods with our resident expert Bushman Rob, you will be safely guided through identifying and collecting seasonal wild edibles of greens, herbs, vegetables, fungi and berries. With Rob's expert eye you will explore, taste and nibble your way through the woods.

In our Tipi Kitchen, talented Chef Dan will then show you how to prepare, marinade, pickle, hot and cold smoke in the old whiskey barrel smokery your freshly foraged and locally sourced produce. Choosing cuts from our very own herd of Dexter beef, game or fish, you will master all types of cooking on open fire coals and embers, using various grills and spits over our enormous tipi fire pit. Finally you will get to sit down at our rustic tables and benches with cosy reindeer hides to enjoy a fresh, delicious feast prepared and cooked in front of your eyes.

Our Foraging and Wild Cooking experience is designed to be informative yet relaxed.

Whether you’re flying solo, attending as a pair or part of a bigger group you can expect to get your hands dirty and hair smoky, while learning valuable skills in the great outdoors surrounded by crackling fires. Leave the woods feeling fresh-faced, revitalised and somewhat enchanted by cooking in the wild.

This experience is suitable for those aged 16+.
