The Grouse Restaurant & Bar

About

Originally opened by the current owner in 1982, The Grouse Restaurant & Bar has become well established as a favourite for food, drinks and live entertainment in the heart of Ballymena’s bustling town centre.

Situated between the two main shopping centres, The Grouse has been meticulously renovated over time, retaining its original features to provide a luxurious yet cosy and informal setting to gather with friends or family.

Food is served daily from 12:00 until late, 7 days per week. The extensive range of menus cater for every age, taste and requirement, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Light lunches and sharing plates are also available from the wider selection of seafood, chicken, lamb, duck, beef and steak options on offer as well as delicious housemade desserts.

An Afternoon Tea of scones, sandwiches and sweet treats is served daily with a sparkling option also available.

The Chefs at The Grouse are committed to using only the freshest of locally sourced ingredients, combining the rich cultures of the Mediterranean along with the flavours of Oriental, Modern European and Irish cuisines, complemented by an equally comprehensive wine list.

Customers can choose to dine in the main Restaurant & Bar, the Gin & Cocktail Bar or alfresco at the Licenced Pavement Café.

The Grouse is the perfect blend of authentic old Irish pub with contemporary styles and standards. With live entertainment every evening from Thursday through to Sunday, it is easy to see why it is Ballymena’s preferred dining and entertainment location.
