About

Set in breathtaking scenery in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty close to the banks of Strangford Lough, our converted stables are the perfect place to relax and re-charge.

We are only 20 minutes from Belfast but once here, Ballygraffan is like a sanctuary where you can get back in touch with nature and de-stress.

There is plenty to do nearby. A drive to Sketrick Island or Whiterock must be one of the most scenic routes in Ireland. A visit to Nendrum Monastic site with it's links to St Patrick, add in a lunch at Daft Eddy's, set on an island and a visit to Castle Espie Wildfowl and Wetland's Trust. Further, a visit to the fairytale Killyleagh Castle or the choice of one of two renowned National Trust properties, Mount Stewart and Castle Ward. There are plenty of beautiful walks and little towns to visit, excellent eating establishmnents or you could simply relax on the balcony and soak up the unique ambiance.

Each stable is beautifully presented and remarkably spacious. We guarantee that you will wake up feeling totally refreshed. They really were working stables until relatively recently and are named after the horse whose stable it used to be. You can open the patio doors, and look out over the beautiful view from your bed. The balcony gets sun in the morning and evening so it's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or a G&T in the evening.

You can do as little or as much as you want on your stay and you will always receive a warm welcome. Breakfast goods are provided, most are homemade and cater for dietary needs on prior arrangement.

This really is a place to relax and reboot. You may find that you never want to leave.

We do allow well behaved pets on request but there may be an additonal charge.
