About

The Old Coach House contains two separate apartments.

Apartment 1 ‘The Stables’ which accommodates 2 people

An open plan studio with double bed, lounge seating, benched dining area, fully equipped kitchen, built in wardrobe and separate bathroom. The occupants have their own outside patio with table and chairs. The apartment also has a wall mounted TV and Wi-Fi and the use of a communal utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.

 

Apartment 2 ‘The Carriage Rooms’ which accommodates 4 people

The upstairs apartment has 5 separate areas, a living/kitchen area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and large hall. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds and Bedroom 2 a double bed. The living space has a fully equipped kitchen, 2 x two-seater settees, TV, electric stove, and Wi-Fi. The apartment also has its own high level extended decking with outside seating facilities and the use of a communal utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.

Road Directions

The property is set in a convenient central location, close to the M1 motorway and is only 25 minutes from the city of Belfast and 60 minutes from Dublin. It is located just 3 miles outside the busy shopping town of Banbridge, and 2 miles from the new Game of Thrones attraction.

Close by are Hillsborough Castle, 20 minutes, and Montalto Estate 35 mins and it is only a 20-minute drive to the seaside town of Newcastle and beautiful beaches at Murlough Bay and Cranfield.

 There are numerous rural walks from the property, and you can also visit Tollymore, Castlewellan and Rostrevor Forest Parks, which are close-by, for more ambitious tracks and mountain biking. The area also boasts numerous Golf courses, fishing, horse-riding and cycling.

Public Transport Directions

To get to the property you need to come off the A1 Dual Carriageway at the B10 turn off for Rathfriland and turn left. Follow this road for 4 miles exactly and the property is on the corner before the filling station on your right.

The property is situated on the main Banbridge to Rathfriland road, approximately 4 miles from both towns. Having a car would certainly be an advantage but there is a bus stop on the main road infront of the property and a regular bus service which will bring you in and out of Banbridge where you will be able to procure bus services to other towns and places of interest.
